January 23 Why Should Kids Have All the Fun? Guardian Spirit Dolls
6:30 p.m. Using a Japanese tale, Lorraine will help participants craft a unique guardian spirit doll.
Unwind with a good story and connect with your creativity. Join storyteller Lorraine Hartin-Gelardi for an evening of fun and relaxation as she leads you from the world of everyday stress into the realm of your imagination. Using images from the story, you will have an opportunity to create a unique and interesting piece of your own art.

1:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Each day will begin with the singing of "Happy Birthday" to the General and birthday cake for all. Over the course of the three day weekend, there will be visits by George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and military re-enactors. Activities will include vendors, storytelling, puppet shows, and music in the headquarters. The Hasbrouk house will be open to tour at your own pace. Admission by donation.

You will discover that Word Plays is a shared experience between the audience and the performer, combining the intensity of a one-person play with the intimacy of a one-on-one conversation.
